2016 Lexus GS F Review – Interior, Exterior, and Performance – If Lexus luxury late to the party in 1989, then it could be considered almost asleep at the wheel and stuck in the road on the way to the soiree super sporty sedan. It took the company until 2007 to introduce a high-performance model, the IS F, but the models are sluggish, left to fend for itself without siblings. But the two do not go over-the Lexus on the performance of sub-brands including roadmap to more models, including the new RC-F coupe and, we suspect, the IS F immediately-and this, in 2016 Lexus GS F.
Standing at the top of this hierarchy new F, Lexus GS F is Lexus’s first ever volleyball in hotter version of the Audi A6, BMW 5-series, Cadillac CTS and Mercedes-Benz E-class. However, based GS GS F is more closely aligned with the performance of mid-level offerings from the competition Lexus. That is, instead of the BMW M5 and Cadillac CTS-V, the GS F will instead face off against the Audi S6, BMW 550i M Sport, and Cadillac CTS Vsport.
While this may be a serious news for Lexus team to hear, the simple truth is that the 467 horsepower just does not cut it at the top of the heap supersedan again. Of course, the GS F naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V-8 sounds wonderful on paper, but its specs pale next to the 640-hp CTS-V and 575-hp M5. Surprisingly, the GS F V-8 conducted during untouched from small RC F coupe. It makes 467 horsepower and 389 lb-ft of torque and zings for the same, the same 7300-rpm redline. Such as RC, GS uses an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive.
Borrow machines from smaller vehicles may sound like a recipe for a sad trombone cut-in, but not so fast. Lexus GS managed to keep the weight to a minimum F, so that the curb weight claimed £ 4,034, just 76 more than the coupe RC F. more integrated structure GS Loan; RC F assembled from bones GS, IS convertible previous generation, and the latest IS sedan. This RC convertible-sourced bits, in particular, fat, since the middle of the car comes with a bracing tight and thick sills to reduce due to the lack of chassis touch the roof. So GS F has fired almost as quickly RC F, which we clocked 4.3 seconds from 0 to 60 mph and 12.8 seconds through the quarter mile.
